Lead Pastor

Pastor Tucker serves as pastor of Five Rivers Church with a desire to see each person in the church reach their full potential in Christ so they can reach each person in our community for Christ. He is a graduate of Central Bible College and has pastored in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. “The Five Rivers Church family is a wonderful gathering of amazing people who want to see the church family grow with anyone who desires to be a part of what God can do in a life, in a family, in this world where we live.”

Associate/Youth Pastor

Sam grew up outside of St. Louis, Missouri, and went on to study Pastoral ministry at the Atlanta School of Ministry where he met his wife Sarah. Sam and Sarah have been serving here at Five Rivers since June of 2023.

Worship Leader

Brian has been worship leader at Five Rivers since July 2017. Along with being worship leader, this is Brian’s 22nd year teaching music in the public school system. He graduated from Indiana University (PA) in 2002 with a degree in music education, and from University of Valley Forge in 2023 with a Master’s in Music Technology. Brian and his beautiful wife Lori have been married since June of 2002 and have been blessed with two amazing children, Sydney and Chase.

Administrative Assistant

Missy came on staff as the Administrative Assistant at Five Rivers in January 2023 but has attended this church since 2005. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Messiah University and has worked in church administration since 2005. She has been happily married to Paul since 1989 and they have 2 adult children: a daughter who is married and has blessed them with a granddaughter, and a son.

Financial Manager

Ellen has attended Five Rivers Church since 1968. She and her husband Tom have three terrific sons. She graduated from Bohemia Manor High school then attended Cecil College for a year and a half to study Business Administration. Ellen has worked for several businesses utilizing her bookkeeping and office skills. Then in November 1987 she started working for Five Rivers Church as Financial Manager.

Evangelist

Maria loves people and dogs, and her favorite pastimes are Crossfit and watching the Philadelphia Eagles with her hubby and ministry partner, Tom. Maria has served her Savior as pastor and teacher, and in almost every area of church ministry. Now as an evangelist, Maria equips people to be all they can be as disciples of Jesus Christ in their homes, churches and local community. Maria is the founder and director of Faith, Hope, and Joy Ministries, Inc. a non-profit started in her current hometown of Elkton, Maryland, that is designed to bring Jesus to the culture through online and local outreach. Maria has earned her degrees and ministry credentials from Temple and Drexel University, the Potomac School of Ministry, and is now studying for her doctoral degree in Church Leadership from Liberty University. She believes and boldly exclaims that the Word of God is a “real and relevant resource, ready to give you a radical relationship” with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
